BE IN THE PINK ON THINK PINK DAY!
Did you know that one in eleven women will develop breast cancer in her lifetime?
MaloufGroup Pharmacies director Richard Malouf said that with a large percentage
of female clientele, he wants to use the business to help make a difference
to the thousands of women diagnosed with breast cancer each year.
The Wesley Hospital provides a free service to women and men all over Queensland,
through the Kim Walters Choices Program. Choices offers individual specialist
support and counseling, specialised groups for partners and young women, complementary
therapies, post-surgery exercise classes, and advice about broader life-related
topics such as stress management, sexuality issues, exercise and nutrition
no matter where you live.
For one week in July each year all Malouf Group Pharmacies
stores are helping raise funds for this worthy cause. All money raised will
go towards helping raise awareness of breast cancer throughout the state.
Women diagnosed with breast cancer do not have to be alone. They have the
choice to call 1800 227 271 or email choices@wesley.com.au to speak to a breast
care nurse.
